Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia invited to Azerbaijan
Pashazade expressed his confidence that this visit will be valuable for the development of good neighborly relations in the Caucasus, friendship and brotherhood of Azerbaijani and Georgian peoples.
Sharashenidze has considered a sample of religious tolerance among the followers of different religions in Azerbaijan as a valuable example.
He stressed that those who want to harm the relations of friendship and brotherhood between the two nations will not achieve it.
During the meeting the sides discussed the fruitful cooperation between the Caucasian Muslims Office and the Patriarchate of Georgia and prospects of their development.
Dmitry Kapanadze, the new bishop of the Xornabuji and Ereti Diocese, Teymuraz Sharashenidze, Georgian ambassador to Azerbaijan and Mufti Salman Musayev, the first deputy chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office attended the meeting.
