Azerbaijan to build solar power plant in Jabrayil, Zangilan districts

Azerbaijan to build solar power plant in Jabrayil, Zangilan districts

A 240-megawatt solar power plant will be built in Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil and Zangilan districts, President Ilham Aliyev said as he met with members of the Jabrayil general public on October 4.

The head of state noted that a green energy zone will be created on the territory of these districts.

"The plant will be built for the account of BP. See how great the interest is. Analysis has already been conducted. Jabrayil and Zangilan are ahead of others for sunny days,” President Aliyev added.
