Azerbaijani wrestler Huseynov becomes world champion

Azerbaijan’s Greco-Roman wrestler Rafig Huseynov (82 kg weight category) defeated Turkey's Burhan Akbudak 2:1 to win the gold medal at the 2021 World Wrestling Championships in Oslo, AzVision.az.

The 33-year-old Azerbaijani wrestler, who claimed the bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, became the world champion for the first time in his career.
