Azerbaijani parliament to convene special session on occasion of Victory Day

Azerbaijani parliament to convene special session on occasion of Victory Day

Azerbaijan’s Parliament will hold a special session on November 8 that will mark the first anniversary of Victory Day, said Safa Mirzayev, head of the parliamentary administration, AzVision.az reports.

During the session, MPs will adopt a statement on the first anniversary of Victory Day.

On December 3, 2020, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree "On the establishment of Victory Day in the Republic of Azerbaijan." According to the order, November 8 will be celebrated as Victory Day every year.
