The report highlights the ongoing construction of the first ‘smart village’ in Zangilan district, AzVision.az reports.
There will be post offices, healthcare centers, a police department and agricultural plots in the 200-house ‘smart village’. The houses in the village will be able to produce their own electricity with solar energy.
According to the report, within the framework of the project, 4 main roads will be built in order to provide transportation to the village.
Furthermore, a victory square will be established on the territory of the village to honor the memory of the Azerbaijani heroes, who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of Zangilan district, says the report.
The construction of Zangilan Airport continues, 5 kilometers from the ‘smart village’. Work on the village is planned to be completed by the end of the year.
