Turkey is ready for a snap parliamentary election, the TRT Haber news channel quoted the Head of Turkish Supreme Electoral Council (YSK) Sadi Guven as saying Aug. 14.
He said it is expected to hold the snap parliamentary election in 90 days.

Guven added that the YSK is awaiting the final decision of the Turkish parliament to announce the exact date of the snap parliamentary election.

Earlier, a source in the government of Turkey told Trend that the snap parliamentary election will be held in November this year.

Turkish parliament is expected to set an exact date for snap parliamentary election in late August, said the source.

A meeting was earlier held between Turkey’s Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and the head of the oppositional Republican People`s Party (CHP) Kemal Kilicdaroglu. During the negotiations, the sides failed to agree to form a coalition government.
