Lukashenko: Ukraine crisis is not only internal but also global conflict
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said on Friday that Ukraine had flared up not only because of internal causes but also due to the international factor. "The Great of the World" are standing behind it," Lukashenko told the employees of the Minsk plant of wheeled tractors on Friday.
Our vision of the situation in Ukraine is simple: nationalists, fascists, corruption, etc. It’s on the surface," Lukashenko said adding that Ukraine had flared up not only for internal reasons.

The Belarusian leader has described the current global situation as extremely complicated. "A struggle for the repartition of the world and the future dominance and influence is under way. The main task under these circumstances is to defend and preserve one’s own country," Lukashenko stressed.

"As for Ukraine (I am in no way toying with this theme), we should understand that if we do not find our bearings and will lay ourselves open in some ways, they will square accounts with us faster than with Ukraine," Lukashenko said.
He added that ruthless redivision of the world was under way.

"For example, today the whole world has joined efforts in fighting the Islamic State (IS) But no has asked how the IS, which has recruited people from all over the globe, can be confronting such powerful states," the Belarusian leader went on to say.

"The western coalition led by the United States cannot cope with it. Why? Because someone in this coalition is financing the IS. Someone, make your guess who it is, is benefiting from IS with an aim to change the world architecture and divide the Earth’s rich hydrocarbon resources not with their own hands but with the hands of these unlucky creatures. Someone has drummed lofty ideas into their heads for which they are dying or simply fighting for money," Lukashenko stressed.

Lukashenko believes that the United States can no longer ensure its exclusive global leadership because other centers of power have emerged. "There is China with a population of almost 1.5 billion people; India with 1.6 billion people; Pakistan and nuclear powers. The European Union is also showing its discontent," the president stressed.
