Azerbaijan`s Minister of Defense Industry Madat Guliyev has met with Minister of State for Defense Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Mohammed Ahmed Al Bowardi on the sidelines of 17th edition of “Dubai Airshow 2021” to discuss prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the field of defense industry.
During the meeting, the sides stressed the need for cooperation in the sphere of defense industry, and had a broad exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
Held biennially under the patronage of Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, the Ruler of Dubai and the UAE Minister of Defence His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the 17th edition of “Dubai Airshow 2021” features about 1000 companies representing more than 100 countries manufacturing navigation devices, surveillance and communication systems, artificial intelligence (AI) equipment, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and many more.
