The Azerbaijani and Iranian presidents are expected to meet in the coming weeks, said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh at a press conference on November 22.
Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev may meet President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi within the framework of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit to be held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
Noting the importance of Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev's visit to Iran, Khatibzadeh noted that many projects were discussed during the visit.
