Azerbaijan records nearly 1,900 new coronavirus cases

Azerbaijan records nearly 1,900 new coronavirus cases

Azerbaijan has recorded 1,880 more COVID-19 cases over the past day, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers told AzVision.az on Thursday, AzVision.az reports.

Some 1,835 patients have recovered and 27 have died in the last 24 hours.

Up until now, 580,507 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country, 545,035 of them have recovered, and 7,736 people have died. Currently, 27,736 people are under treatment in special hospitals.

Over the past day, 12,352 COVID-19 tests have been carried out in Azerbaijan, bringing the total number of tests to 5,485,509.
