Monument to famous Azerbaijani poet to be erected in Baku

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday signed an order on the erection of a monument to famous poet Ashug Alasgar in Baku, AzVision.az reports.

Under the order, the Baku City Executive Power, together with the Ministry of Culture, has been instructed to take measures to erect a monument to Ashug Alasgar.

The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to resolve the issues arising from this order.
