First, the memory of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of the country was honored with observing a minute of silence. The national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
Chief of the Department for Ideological Work and Moral-Psychological Support Major General Bakir Orujov highlighted the work carried out during the 2021 training year in the field of military-patriotic education, moral-psychological training, strengthening military discipline, and in other areas, as well as the upcoming tasks assigned in this direction for the 2022 training year.
Speaking about the glorious victory of the Azerbaijan Army under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Ilham Aliyev, Orujov noted that in addition to combat readiness, military-patriotic education, moral-psychological training, and military discipline played a significant role.
Analyzing the combat readiness, morale, and psychological state of personnel in the current year, Major General Orujov instructed on the requirements of the orders of the Minister of Defense, instructions on observing safety rules and increased vigilance, the correct conduct of individual educational work among military personnel, the organization of relationships in accordance with the regulations, as well as, stressed the need to intensify efforts in this direction.
During the sessions, training and education officers reported on the work done in the current year to improve the ideological work, moral and psychological support, the achieved success, and the elimination of shortcomings.
