Tehran and Baku have reached important agreements, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said on Wednesday at a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku, AzVision.az reports.
He noted that relations between the two countries will develop rapidly.
"The priority of the new Iranian government is to develop relations with Azerbaijan at the maximum level," the minister said.
The minister also expressed Iran’s intention to expand relations with Azerbaijan, Turkey and Russia in a quadripartite format.
