The COVID-19 pandemic is still developing, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department for Economic Affairs and Policy of Innovative Development under the Presidential Administration Shahmar Movsumov said at a briefing of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, AzVision.az reports.
"Most cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Azerbaijan from November through December 2020", Yagut Garayeva noted.
Garayeva stated that 31 percent of COVID-19 tests conducted during the above period were positive.
Yagut Garayeva, Head of the Department for Control and Prevention of Diseases at the Union for Management of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB), Shahmar Movsumov, Assistant to the President, Head of the Economic Affairs and Innovative Development Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, and Teymur Musayev, First Deputy Minister of Health, Acting Minister of Health, attended the press conference.
