Azerbaijan to assign ‘war veteran’ title to Patriotic War participants

Azerbaijan to assign ‘war veteran’ title to Patriotic War participants

President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on additional measures to confer the title of “War Veteran” upon persons who participated in combat operations for Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, AzVision.az reports.

Under the order, the participants of the Patriotic War [from late September to early November 2020] will be awarded the title of “War Veteran”.
