The play was directed by People`s Artist of Kazakhstan Tungushbay Zhamankulov, AzerTAc repots.
The performance was watched by Atirau government officials, heads and staff members of foreign companies, culture and public figures, members of the Azerbaijani diaspora and journalists.
Considered to be the first of its kind in the entire Muslim world, The Cloth Peddler is celebrating its centenary. The operetta has been successfully performed in a plenty of languages in over 60 countries of the world, including in China, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and the USA.
