The role of the media in times of crisis is among highlights of the 2022 Winter Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) that started on Monday in a hybrid manner in the city of Strasbourg, France.
On the second day of its winter plenary session, the PACE elected its Vice-Presidents.
During the third meeting to be held today, Belgian MPs Fourat Ben Chikha and Christophe Lacroix will present their reports on sexual minorities.
Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić will also address the parliamentarians.
Council of Europe Secretary General Marija Pejčinović Burić and Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation of Italy Benedetto Della Vedova will also present their reports to the Assembly.
At the end of the session, the participants will consider and discuss Swedish MP Annicka Engblom’s report on “The role of media in times of crisis”.
