Over 51 hectares of liberated Azerbaijani territory demined: Mine Action Agency

Over 51 hectares of liberated Azerbaijani territory demined: Mine Action Agency

Azerbaijan continues demining operations in its territories liberated from the Armenian occupation.

During the mine clearing operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Shusha, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts, 7 anti-personnel and 10 anti-tank mines, as well as 42 unexploded ordnances (UXO) were found and neutralized from February 1 to 5, Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency told AzVision.az.

As a result, 51,3 hectares have been cleared of mines and UXOs, the agency added.
