Azerbaijan has detected 1,979 new COVID-19 cases, 7,198 patients have recovered, and 27 patients have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers told AzVision.az on Wednesday.
Up until now, 779,783 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country, 749,514 of them have recovered, and 9,307 people have died. Currently, 20,952 patients are currently undergoing treatment in Azerbaijan.
Over the past day, 10,506 COVID-19 tests have been carried out in Azerbaijan, bringing the total number of tests to 6,511,864.
