Belarusian embassy in Azerbaijan denies presidential candidate`s statement

Belarusian embassy in Azerbaijan denies presidential candidate`s statement

The Belarusian embassy in Azerbaijan has protested over Jamil Hasanli`s statement.

Presidential candidate from the opposition National Council Jamil Hasanli said during the debates that the Azerbaijani side is delivering a loan to Belarus at a rate of one per cent.

This statement is wrong, the embassy said on Tuesday.

`At present, the Belarusian government has no debt to the Azerbaijani government`, the statement said. `Relations between the economic entities of the two countries in the financial and credit sector are based solely on market principles."
