Russia declares temporary ceasefire to allow residents of Ukraine

Russia has opened humanitarian corridors for residents of Ukraine's Mariupol and Volnovakha cities to leave, Russia’s Ministry of Defense told reporters, AzVision.az reports citing TASS.

"Russia initiated a temporary ceasefire to allow civilians of the two Ukrainian cities move out beginning 10am (GMT+3) on March 5," the ministry stated.

The Russian Defense Ministry clarified humanitarian corridors and exit routes had been agreed with the Ukrainian side.
