The process of demining the Azerbaijani territories liberated from the Armenian occupation [in the 2020 second Karabakh war] is very important for the soonest return of internally displaced persons to their native lands, the UK Ambassador James Sharp told reporters, AzVision.az reports.
Sharp said that at the moment a large number of UK companies are involved in the demining process in Karabakh.
"We are very pleased to take part in the demining process on the liberated lands. The process is going well. This is a very important moment for the return of internally displaced persons to their homes," he added.
