  Turkish FM meets with Armenian counterpart in Antalya

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Saturday met with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, AzVision.az reports.

The ministers discussed steps towards normalizing Turkey-Armenia relations and regional issues.

Speaking to reporters, Cavusoglu positively assessed the meeting with his Armenian counterpart.

“I am pleased to say that we are working for peace and stability in the South Caucasus. Peace in the region is for the benefit of each of us. I talked to my Armenian counterpart on this issue,” Cavusoglu added.

Mirzoyan, in turn, thanked Cavusoglu for the invitation to the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
