A protocol on the integration of civil liability insurance systems for vehicle owners (Green Card systems) has been signed between the Azerbaijan Compulsory Insurance Bureau (CIB) and the Turkish Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB) in Baku, the Compulsory Insurance Bureau told reporters.
The protocol is aimed at simplifying and speeding up the procedure for crossing the border points between Azerbaijan and Turkey, and will also help prevent the use of false documents.
Besides, after the integration, the procedure for selling and purchasing Green Card insurance policies will be simplified.
The document was signed by the CIB’s Executive Director Rashad Ahmadov and the MIB’s Director Mehmet Eroglu.
