Azerbaijan limits export of grain crops

Temporary regulation of the grain export through the customs territory of Azerbaijan is introduced until December 31, 2022, AzVision.az reports citing resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On measures to regulate the export from the country of a number of basic food products that are part of the minimum consumer basket and goods used in their production."

According to the decision, the export of products of the flour-grinding industry, starch, wheat gluten, oil seeds and other seeds, medicinal and industrial crops, feed, etc., through the customs territory of Azerbaijan, will be temporarily regulated.

The release of grain crops by the customs authorities will be available with an Economy Ministry’s approval letter.
