Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov discussed the ways to stabilize the situation and maintain the security in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan in a phone conversation, AzVision.az reports citing the Russian Defense Ministry.
The sides also exchanged views on the progress of the peacekeeping operation and the humanitarian situation in the area.
