Azerbaijani wrestler defeats Armenian rival to reach European Championships semi-finals

Azerbaijani wrestler defeats Armenian rival to reach European Championships semi-finals

Azerbaijani wrestler Ashraf Ashirov gained a victory over his rival from Armenia Arman Avagyan at the 2022 European Wrestling Championships in Budapest and reached the semi-finals of the European Championships, AzVision.az reports.

Ashirov, taking part in the championships in the weight category of 79 kilograms, was competing with Avagyan in the quarterfinals.

The Azerbaijani wrestler gained a victory over his opponent in 1 minute 50 seconds.
