“Serzh Sargsyan once again confessed of being the head of the occupier country, which continues the policy of territorial claims against neighbor countries in front of eyes of the world community,” said Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Elman Abdullayev commenting on Armenian President Serj Sargsyan`s speech at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
E. Abdullayev noted that S. Sargsyan threatens security of all the region via menacing Azerbaijan and not being ashamed of the world community repeats their aggressor position in front of PACE: "Armenian President, misusing tribune of the international organization, tries to deceive the world community once again. It seems, such an approach of Armenian President, arise from his disrespect to the international law and opinion of the international community. Armenian president does not understand that his efforts, to manipulate negotiations for delay of the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, affect security of the all the region including Armenia."
According to Foreign Ministry official there is a deep difference between the democracy notion of the world and Serj Sargsyan: “I know one thing: to build a so-called democracy at the expense of crimes, ethnic cleansing and violations of international law, including international humanitarian law, is contrary to the ideals of humanity. To create so-called regime in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan on the blood of the indigenous population of Azerbaijan, and then call it a democracy is a shameless display of disrespect for human values. I am not to mentioning international law," - said Elman Abdullayev.
