Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations Colonel General Kemaleddin Heydarov received Turkish Ambassador to the country Ismayil Alper Coskun on Aug.25.
During the meeting the minister emphasized the contribution Lt Gen Hasan Nevzat Tasdeler, the former military attaché of the Turkish Armed Forces to Azerbaijan, has made to the development of relations between the two fraternal countries, wishing him success in his future activity.
Later on, the ambassador introduced to the minister the newly-appointed military attaché of the Turkey Armed Forces to Azerbaijan Maj Gen Ihsan Basbozkurt.
Minister Heydarov, noting the high-level cooperation between the relevant structures of the two countries on emergency management, said there are huge prospects for the development of these relations.
In addition, the sides expressed views on the issues of mutual interest.
