Some 2,076 stateless persons have been granted Azerbaijan's citizenship through measures taken by the State Migration Service (SMS) from 2008 to April 1, 2022 following the relevant presidential orders, Chief of Citizenship Issues Head Department of the SMS, III rank counselor Rza Talibov said at a meeting of the Statelessness Working Group, AzVision.az reports.
He also noted that 5953 persons were recognized as citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
