During a meeting with President Ilham Aliyev, the WHO official said the situation with COVID-19 in Azerbaijan is constantly monitored, and the state has taken the necessary and consistent measures. He also hailed Azerbaijan's vaccination policy as very successful.
Kluge affirmed WHO’s intention to continue cooperation with Azerbaijan. Noting that the organization is ready to closely contribute to the ongoing reforms in the healthcare system in Azerbaijan, the WHO official said that the measures taken to establish digital and e-health systems in Azerbaijan are also very positive.
