The total amount of the approved subsidies in Azerbaijan from June 2020 to April 1, 2022, was 69.4 million manat ($40.8 million), Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said on Twitter, AzVision.az reports.
Jabbarov noted that in the reporting period 22 million manat ($12.9 million) were paid to entrepreneurs affected by the COVID-19 pandemic under the state-guaranteed loan and subsidy support program.
Positive decisions were made on 5,010 out of 6,290 appeals, received for subsidies, the minister added.
