Head of the City Executive Authorities Eldar Azizov informed the President about what had been done to boost socio-economic development of Sumgayit, one of the biggest industrial centers of the country.
President Ilham Aliyev then attended the opening of the newly overhauled Sumgayit City Hospital No 1.
The Azerbaijani President met local residents and the hospital staff. The President toured the hospital.
Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev said that the 225-bed hospital was provided with modern medical equipment.

SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev briefed the Azerbaijani leader on the park, which covers social and industrial zones.

The President launched the plant and viewed the production process.
