During the court session, Ismayilova’s lawyers first made a motion to resume the judicial investigation.
But the public prosecutor, Ramazan Hadiyev noted that the judicial investigation was conducted properly, and all the charges brought against Ismayilova have been completely proven.
He also stressed that there is no reason to resume the judicial investigation, and asked the court not to grant the motion of Ismayilova’s defense.
The motion was not granted.
