Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission to hold session in July

The next session of the Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission is planned to be held in Nursultan on July 4-5, Kazakhstan Ambassador to Azerbaijan Serzhan Abdykarimov told reporters adding that the session will consider cooperation between countries in various spheres.

"This year, we mark the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. The preparation of a complex program of developing cooperation until 2026 is currently underway. Despite the pandemic, the trade between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan grows, and direct flights resumed along with business and human contacts," he said.

The ambassador announced that the countries are setting up a business council Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan.

"Kazakhstan has already formed its part; this platform will serve the regular dialogue of the business circles of the two countries and the strengthening of the trade and economic and investment cooperation," he said.
