"The centuries-old ties of friendship and good neighborliness that bind our peoples are a reliable basis for the progressive development of the Azerbaijani-Russian strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation," President Aliyev said in his letter.
The head of state noted that the interaction of the two countries on a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda is especially satisfying.
"The high level of our interstate ties that have developed over the past thirty years was consolidated in February. I am sure that through joint efforts, the relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation will continue to steadily strengthen and expand for the benefit of our peoples and countries," he added.
