Not only Islamic world, but also rest of the world again witnessed the strength of our athletes, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said during the meeting with the country’s athletes who won medals at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games, AzVision.az reports.
The head of the state said that when our flag is raised and national anthem is played, every Azerbaijani citizen feels proud, and each victory increases our glory once again.
"During our meeting in Konya I said that you have an additional responsibility since you will represent the victorious country in these Games," Aliyev said.
