According to the exercise scenario, helicopters, involved in the drills, performed tasks on the application of radio interference against air defense units and inspection of board defense complexes of helicopters, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on Sep.1.
Mi-35 combat helicopters, Mi-17 and Sikorsky UH 60 military-transport helicopters, as well as Cougar AS532 search and rescue helicopters were involved in the drills.
