Jumps in oil prices not to change BP

The main investor of oil and gas projects in Azerbaijan, BP, does not put them in dependence on world market trends.

BP Azerbaijan’s public relations manager Tamam Bayatli has stated that jumps in world oil prices do not affect the implementation of BP’s projects in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.

"Despite jumps in world oil prices, BP does not adjust its plans on projects both in Azerbaijan and in the region as a whole. All works outlined as far back as 2014 are fulfilled,” she added.

The Company is the operator of oilfield block Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and gas condensate field Shah Deniz.
