Vice-speaker: Armenian side far from humanity for firing at wedding tent
“The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs had better focus on the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict rather than speak of daily incidents taking place on the contact line of troops”

Armenia’s shooting of a wedding tent in Azerbaijan’s Terter district indicates that despite the ceasefire agreement between the two countries, people do not live in peace at all and daily provocations of this kind on the front line end up harming people’s lives and property, Bahar Muradova, vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the OSCE PA, said on Sep.2.

Muradova said a new such incident raises concerns.

Armenians has gone so beyond humanity that it dares to fire at a wedding tent, the vice-speaker said, adding that the existence of this conflict continues to remain a threat to the region and the world.

“The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs had better focus on the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict rather than speak of daily incidents taking place on the front line because we are used to seeing them focus on looking for ways to eliminate such incidents when talking about the conflict. Even if they pay such attention, incidents continue to take place. Considering the fact that the contact line traverses Azerbaijani territory, our citizens suffer more losses. The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs must make the most of the opportunities they have,” she completed.
