  Human remains found in Zallar village of Azerbaijan

Human bones and women's clothing items were found in Zallar village of Azerbaijan's Kalbajar district, AzVision.az reports citing the Prosecutor General's Office.

On October 27, the Kalbajar district prosecutor's office received information about the discovery of eroded bones of a human skeleton, as well as fragments of clothes believed to belong to a woman, in the area of the Zallar village of the Kalbajar district.

The prosecutor's office inspected the site with the participation of a forensic medical expert. The fragments of bones and clothing found were packed duly and taken for examination.

It is assumed that the discovered bones and clothes belong to the person who was captured and killed by torture during the occupation of the Kalbajar district by Armenia.

The investigation is currently underway.
