  Ministerial meeting of Eastern Partnership countries kicks off in Brussels 

A regular ministerial meeting of the Eastern Partnership countries kicked off in Brussels, AzVision.az reports. 

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell chairs the meeting.

Azerbaijan is represented at the meeting by Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

The meeting participants will discuss the future of the Eastern Partnership, security challenges and the consequences of the war in Ukraine for the entire region, as well as the implementation of the Economic and Investment Plan.

The Eastern Partnership program was launched by the EU in 2009. Its main goal is the development of regional cooperation with six countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
