Türkiye raises minimum wage by annual hike of 70% for 2023

Türkiye’s minimum wage has been increased by a massive 50% for 2023, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced on Thursday, AzVision.az reports citing Daily Sabah.

Becoming effective as of Jan. 1, the minimum wage has been increased to TL 8,500, Erdoğan told a televised address in the capital Ankara.

The increase also represents an average annual hike of over 70%, Erdoğan said.
