15 Turkish soldiers killed in mine attack
Scores of Turkish soldiers are reported to have been killed and injured in a terrorist attack on Sept.6.
Explosives reportedly planted by PKK terrorists on a road in the southeastern Hakkari province on Sunday have killed and wounded several soldiers.

The incident took place in the town of Daglica in Yuksekova district Sunday evening, as two armed vehicles belonging to Turkish soldiers were crossing.

Security sources said there were several wounded and martyred soldiers.

However, there has been no official statement on the number of losses yet.

In an air raid right after the incident, the Turkish fighter jets pounded 13 PKK targets.

Reuters news agency has put the death toll at 15. According to information, two Turkish military vehicles were completely destroyed as twin roadside bombs went off.

The agency said six of the injured soldiers were hospitalized in Yuksekova State Hospital.
