  Azerbaijan, Croatia discuss strengthening economic partnership

Azerbaijan and Croatia discussed strengthening partnerships in energy, tourism, information technologies, pharmaceuticals, and other areas, AzVision.az reports citing the Ministry of Economy. 

Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov met with Deputy Speaker of the Croatian Parliament Davorko Vidovic. The Azerbaijani official pointed out that the economic and trade relations with Croatia are developing, purposeful work is being done to expand the partnership, and said that mutual visits and discussions play an important role in the development of bilateral relations. There are ample opportunities for strengthening partnerships with Croatia in energy, tourism, information technologies, pharmaceuticals, and other areas.

Mammadov noted that there is a strong potential in terms of expanding relations between the business circles of the two countries and identifying prospective areas of cooperation, and invited Croatian businessmen to take advantage of the favorable business and investment environment created in Azerbaijan and to actively cooperate with their counterparts in the country.

Vidovich expressed satisfaction with his visit to Azerbaijan, shared his views on the directions of development of economic relations, and pointed out that Croatian companies are interested in cooperation on projects to be implemented within the restoration of the liberated territories.
