Charge d'affaires of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Iraq Nasir Mammadov has met with the country`s Minister of Health Saleh Al-Hasnawi.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in the field of healthcare.
The two also touched upon exchange of experience between Azerbaijan and Iraq, work on strengthening the legal basis in the field of healthcare as well as training of Azerbaijani doctors in Iraq.
Recalling the Summit-level Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement Contact Group in response to COVID-19 in Baku on March 2, Iraqi Health Minister Saleh Al-Hasnawi noted that Azerbaijan’s chairmanship of the NAM contributed to the movement’s revitalization.
The sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest at the meeting.
