President of Turkmenistan Gurbangulu Berdimukhammedov received head of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan at the building of the congress center in the Avaz national tourism zone.
The meeting was attended by ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan Vahdet Sultanzade.
The press service for the Turkmen president said that during the meeting the president of SOCAR expressed the interest of his company in establishing full-scale cooperation with Turkmenistan.
The sides also discussed different aspects of interaction in fuel and energy sphere and transport and communication sector, prospects of implementing mutually profitable joint projects, promoting sustainable economic development of the entire Caspian region.
The head of state also familiarized the guests with the architectural features and functional capacities of the congress center designed to host representative forms and high-level meetings.
