The announcement came from Pashinyan at a government meeting on Thursday, AzVision.az reports citing Armenian media.
“In the near future, my meeting with the President of Azerbaijan in Brussels is planned through the mediation of the President of the European Council,” Pashinyan said.
Noting that the text of the peace treaty with Azerbaijan is not ready for signing, the Armenian PM expressed hope that positive progress will be recorded.
Referring to the recent talks between the foreign ministers of the two countries in the United States, the Armenian prime minister said that the progress was imperceptible, but still took place.
He also added that the peace agenda has no alternative, and a peace treaty should be signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
