"Silk and Fire" international music festival opened in Paris

"Silk and Fire" international music festival opened in Paris

On September 13, the "Silk and Fire" international music festival opened in the concert hall of "Theatre des Champs Elysees" (Paris).

Prior to the concert, the artistic director of the orchestra "Lamoureux” spoke of his the first trip to Azerbaijan and the famous Azerbaijani famous musicians.

At the opening ceremony the ambassador of Azerbaijan to France Elchin Amirbayov expressed gratitude to organizers of the Silk and Fire festival.

Conducted by Eyyub Guliyev, the orchestra "Lamoureux" performed the overture from the opera "Koroglu" of the ingenious composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli. Also were performed the works by Gara Garayev, Fikret Amirov, Vagif Mustafazade, etc.
