Over 100 Wagner fighters move towards Suwalski Corridor - Polish PM

More than a hundred mercenaries of Wagner PMC in Belarus moved towards the Suwalki Corridor, which makes the Polish-Lithuanian border, Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki said, AzVision.az reports citing Polish media.

He noted that Wagner is thus preparing for a hybrid attack on Poland. Wagner fighters under the guise of Belarusian border guards will help illegal immigrants to penetrate the border into Poland.

Morawiecki did not rule out that the mercenaries themselves, under the guise of migrants, could cross the Polish border.

Earlier today Poland and Lithuania announced that they could completely close the borders with Belarus due to the presence of Wagner mercenaries in this country.

The Suwalki Corridor is a borderline between Poland and Lithuania, about 100 km long. NATO called this corridor the most vulnerable section of the external borders of the alliance and a possible target for Russia.
